本所在磷化工行業獨具優勢，先后承擔完成了10kt/a、20kt/a、40kt/a飼料磷酸氫鈣工程，60 kt/a料漿法粉狀磷酸一銨工程，150 kt/a大型磷銨裝置技改核心設計等工程項目，所建裝置運行正常，技術經濟指標居國內領先水平。已建成的貴州翁福礦肥基地200kt/a大型粉狀MAP裝置的全套設計、施工、運行、人員培訓均由本所總承包，還先后承擔了鉆井廢液處理站工程設計、30kt/a碳酸鋰、20 kt/a尼龍1010等一系列化工生產裝置的設計，所建裝置均運行正常。
Chemical Engineering Design Institute is mainly engaged in designing chemical plants and engineering chemical technological achievements. Our Institute relies on Sichuan University's strong chemical science and scientific research capabilities, and has strength and talents in chemical engineering, chemical metallurgy, chemical equipment, chemical instrumentation automation, chemical technology and economics. Besides, we have a large number of nationally renowned experts and professors, who have done a lot of creative work for engineering the technological achievements.
Our institute has unique advantages in phosphorous chemical industry. we have successively completed the 10 kg/a, 20 kt/a, 40 kt/a feed calcium hydrogen phosphate projects, the 60 kt/a slurry method monolithic ammonium phosphate project and the core design of technical modification of 50 kt/a ammonium phosphate plant and so on. The built devices are operating normally, and their technical and economic indicators rank the leading domestic level. The whole design, construction, operation and personnel training of the 200kt/a large-scale powder MAP device at the Guizhou Wengfu Mineral Fertilizer Base are all contracted by the Institution. The institute also undertook the engineering design of the drilling liquid waste treatment station and a series design of chemical production facilities such as 30kt/a lithium carbonate, 20 kt/a nylon 1010, etc., and the built devices are all operating normally.
